My approach
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years photographing families and relationships. I noticed the quiet, often unspoken ways we communicate, how much we express through a glance, a posture, or the spaces between us. I saw how much lives beneath the surface in every relationship - the longing to feel close, understood, and valued.
I wanted to move beyond documenting those moments and begin helping people notice and make sense of them, especially the emotional patterns that can leave us feeling stuck, alone, or disconnected from our most important relationships. This led me to pursue a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Gonzaga University.
Each person and couple I meet brings a unique story. We also all share some of the same feelings - the desire to feel safe, to be known, to matter, and to feel securely connected to others.
I believe that when we can slow down and understand what’s happening underneath our relationship patterns, meaningful change can happen. We can begin to respond to ourselves and each other in new ways—ways that create more connection, clarity, and a deeper sense of belonging. Healing doesn’t come from fixing who you are, but from feeling seen, supported, and understood in the places that matter most.
I offer young adult, adult and couples therapy in Spokane, Washington. I also offer telehealth services across the state of Washington.
Washington Individual and Couples Counseling
Individual Counseling
If you find yourself constantly stuck in loops of self-criticism, anxiety or relationship struggles, you have tried various coping strategies or you have complex trauma - you don’t need more coping techniques - you need deep transformative healing. Using Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, I help people map out their internal emotional worlds. We can learn how our past experiences shape the present reactions - and by processing them in a safe, caring space, we can shift out of defensive survival modes and into a state of self love, self worth and emotional balance.
Couples Counseling
Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, I help couples rebuild their most important bonds and learn to repair. Grounded in attachment science, EFCT aims to heal relationships not through communication techniques or conflict resolution, but by helping you identify the underlying negative cycle to rewrite your relationship patterns. We explore underlying vulnerabilities and focus on emotional accessibility and responsiveness to help couples move towards security and closeness.
Rates
